What Differentiates Korean Ginseng?
There are various types of Ginseng – Korean, Siberian, American, Chinese, Japanese, Canadian, Australian, etc. Korean Ginseng, however, is noted for its high Germanium and Saponin content.
Germanium content
Scientists have found that most organic detoxifiers contain the element Germanium. The higher the Germanium content, the quicker the blood purification process. As the chart below shows, Korean Ginseng contains the highest amount of organically chelated Germanium of all the organic detoxifiers.
Saponin content
Besides being rich in germanium, calcium, magnesium, iron and B vitamins, the ingredients commonly thought to be responsible for ginseng's adaptogenic properties are called ginsenosides (saponins). They are found in mature Korean Ginseng to a far greater extent than other type of ginseng. Studies on the medical benefits of saponins are constantly in progress.
